Open Road Girl Spotlight - Janette Belcher

Posted by

I have ridden since I was a young teenager, but I took a break once I got married, had a kid, etc. Now, I have been riding again for about 8 years. One year ago, I was diagnosed with cancer and also had to have half of my right foot amputated.

It took me 7 months to walk again, and I did not feel comfortable with balancing after that. The ORG group really supported me, encouraged me, and honestly stopped me from giving up and wanting to ride again!

I owned a Harley Sportster 1200 until recently. I traded in

my Harley for a Spyder Limited as decked out as they come! I cannot tell you how happy I am to be on the road again. And I am so very thankful to ORG for helping me through it all. I love riding the river road area in Alton, Illinois. I also love the LaRouche Cave area in Illinois. It has a lovely biker bar stop along the way to meet many other bikers, and the caves are awesome to view!

Nothing relieves stress and helps take your problems away like being on the open road! It is a true blessing to me.
